Billing, Cancellation and Refund Terms
Version 2026-10-27.1 · Updated 27 October 2026
DRAFT — owner and professional legal approval required before commercial reliance. Missing details and unverified safeguards are explicitly identified below.
Configured offer
Source catalogue: Launch $0/month; Business $25/month; Scale $79/month; Enterprise $119/month, USD. Live Paddle catalogue, environment and approval are unverified. No time-limited trial is evidenced. Actual purchase totals, currency, tax and interval must be shown in checkout before commitment; do not proceed if they disagree with the selected offer.
Renewal and changes
Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the displayed billing interval until cancelled under Paddle’s applicable terms. Review renewal amount and timing before payment. Plan changes, proration and effective dates must be confirmed in the portal; no unsupported proration promise is made.
Merchant and management
Paddle is the intended merchant of record and handles payments, tax, invoices and payment-related refunds. WHALE provides the SaaS service and usage access. Owners/administrators use Billing → Manage subscription to open Paddle’s portal, including cancellation. If the portal fails, use Paddle buyer support at paddle.net and [OWNER REQUIRED: WHALE billing contact]. Preserve proof of cancellation.
Usage and payment failure
Input and output tokens count. Source plans use token allowances plus a grace buffer derived from 20% of the next tier; there is no automatic upgrade or overage charge in the offer. Quota enforcement and live configuration require verification. Payment failures may restrict paid access after applicable notice; they do not authorise hidden charges.
Refunds and rights
Refund requests and statutory withdrawal rights are handled under Paddle’s current Buyer Terms and Refund Policy and applicable law. Refunds are not categorically excluded. Cancellation and a refund request are separate. Non-waivable consumer rights prevail. Review Paddle’s current policies before purchase.
